  • When I arrived at Newmark Homes and was asked to take over the Estimating Dept. the margin drift was roughly  4% off. This reflects the margin drift being at 4% variance of GP (gross profit) from contract acceptance to closing. This was in August 2004
  • Under my management of the Estimating Dept. and by revamping the entire processes in Supply Management, by the end of 2005, the margin drift was down to 2%
  • By the end of 2006, the margin drift was down to within ½%

  • Perform field validations of said estimates
  • Oversight of all redlines/plan changes for Dallas/Ft. Worth
